Don't Catch Us Off Guard...

Yesterday was a productive day, but one of those days where you don't plan to go anywhere and figure, "What's the point of getting dressed for the day?" Well, my answer became obvious as soon as the doorbell rang and I had to go answer it in my boxers with puffy, frizzy hair... Just some girl advertising for something or other, BUT while she had me at the door, Smiles came and stood beside me in his t-shirt/diaper get-up then soon after Brains joins us in her dress she just created from all the doll blankets in their playroom. I thought, "Oh my, we all look like we just crawled out of bed at 3 in the AFTERnoon! Not to mention that when I opened the door the sun was beaming down in my eyes so I was squinting like I had just crawled out of bed too:o/ Well, I finished that conversation somewhat embarrassed and when I got upstairs I noticed Curly (who I am positive had been downstairs before I answered the door) was prancing around in JUST her underware!!! She totally walked past us, more like behind me without me even knowing in her panties!!! My kids don't just hang around in their underware on a normal basis or anything, but the girls had been playing with their dress up clothes and I guess Curly failed to re-dress after her last choice of princess dresses. Anyway, I just had to smile at how we must have looked to this girl, and yes, I am really glad it was a GIRL!
