Silly Questions

Brains asked me in the car, "What is the bone in a dog bone?" Inquisitive mind with questions I NEVER thought twice about as a child! A couple of days later she asks, "Are there cat bones too?"

We listen to kids songs quite often in the car and the kids love it. The other day Brains was singing along to a song - "Noah, he built him, he built him an arky, arky. Noah he built him, he built him an arky, arky, built it out of gopher barky, barky, children of the Lord." Brains asks in a concerned voice, "Mommy, what's barky barky children?" I'm like, "What are you talking about?" She says, "Well they built the ark out of barky barky children... what's that?" I laughed, "Brains:o) It's barky barky - like wood, and then CHILDREN OF THE LORD." She says, "Ooooh."

As we were approaching an elevator Curly says, "Are we getting in the alligator?"

Curly randomly starts complaining about bugs on her feet: tickling them, bothering them, or whatever. I'm always like, "Yeah, yeah, that's nice. There aren't any bugs so calm down." The other day Brains informed that her foot had fallen asleep, then she proceeded to tell me that when Curly complains of bugs and her feet in the car it's because her foot fell asleep. DUH, makes perfect sense! Funny that my 6 year old is the one that had to tell me that and funny description for a sleeping foot!
